So you’re starting a business. You need a website. Now what? Hiring a designer isn’t always the way to go – there are a few other options.

You could purchase a template

When you hire a designer, you are paying that designer to design your website personally. This is great if you have a good idea of what you need, but what if you don’t? Hiring a designer is pretty expensive, too. You might not want to spend the money.

Don’t worry, there are other options. You could always just buy a template. Many websites sell pre-designed templates that you can purchase. I’ll talk more about the benefits of buying a template (as opposed to hiring a designer) later.

If you find a template that you like, you could get it customized. You don’t want your website to look the same as other website sites on the web. A designer at buytemplates.net can change a few aspects of the design (such as color) without totally remaking the design. That way, you will have a design that you like for less than paying a professional designer.
